THE ARTS MAP CELEBRATES FIRST BIRTHDAY
BY INTRODUCING NEW FEATURES

NEW MEMBERSHIP SEARCH FEATURE
If the organization membership feature was not available when you created your original account, be sure to log in and add the names of the organizations of which you are a member to your primary listing. Why? Because now people can search for all the members of, for example, the National Collage Society or The Society of Animal Artists. Including the organizations you belong to in your listing may bring added attention to you and your work.
EVENTS LISTINGS & SEARCH ADDED TO MAP
In addition to posting locations on The Arts Map, it is now possible to post events like Exhibitions, Performances, Meetings, Conferences, Workshops, Festivals, etc. on the map. Users can search for events by date range, by type of event, or by radius from a user-defined location. Posted events automatically disappear from the map when the event is over. To add an event to the map log in to your account and look for the "Add and Event" links just below the section called "My Primary Listing." Posting events is a free service of The Arts Map.

MAILING LIST FEATURE DESIGNED TO CONNECT LISTERS AND CLIENTS

Users who click on map pins or access detail pages now have the option to ask to be added to a lister's mailing list. When they do this, the lister will receive an e-mail from The Arts Map with the request and any message the user may have included with his or her request. To make sure those e-mails are not blocked by spam filters, listers should add info@theartsmap.com to their approved e-mail sources.
