Born and raised in Milwaukee WI, Becky's hands have been busy making things since she can remember. Art and Theatre set building dominated her early school days, and she couldn't learn enough about tools and materials. Receiving a BFA in Graphic Design from UWM in 2000, she is now an artist making a life in Milwaukee. She strives to make useful, artful, functional objects and sculptural work out of found objects and items that others have thrown away. She is active in the local art community, showing at galleries, curating and jurying gallery shows, working with theatre groups, and participating in a myriad of events, Becky is available for gallery shows, art and craft fairs, and teaching workshops, as well as collaborations, occasional donations, community involvement, and other innovative projects or she can be a part of.
